Someone was playing a cruel joke on Marigold Wells. And she had a feeling she knew exactly who it was. Ever since their divorce seven years ago, Marigold’s ex husband, Liam, had been making it his personal mission to push her beyond all her boundaries. So when she found out that they were suspiciously assigned to a six week project for their son's school, what was she left to do?

Liam Wells had just about everything he needed in life. The perfect house, two amazing sons, and an ex-wife who he was gladly forced to work with for the next two months. In an attempt to smooth things out between them, Liam tries his best to reconnect the friendship they had long ago. Only the more time they spend together, the more they realize they couldn’t keep down the old spark between them for long.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Marigold and Liam are forced to figure out if their relationship can flourish again, or will they burn out?
